Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is the sacred Hindu temple complex built at the revered birthplace of Lord Rama, the central figure of the epic Ramayana and seventh avatar of Vishnu. Located on the banks of the Saryu River in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, the temple holds immense spiritual, cultural, and historical significance for millions of Hindus worldwide.

The modern Ram Mandir, constructed in the traditional Nagara style, stands majestically with three floors, five mandapas (halls), and 44 doors—some plated with gold. Its main sanctum houses a 51-inch black stone idol of Balak Ram (child Rama), flanked by shrines for Sita, Lakshmana, Bharata, Shatrughna, and Hanuman. The temple complex spans 360×235 feet, built on a raised platform using pink sandstone and massive granite stones weighing up to 18 tons each.

Ayodhya Lata Mangeshkar Chowk

Ayodhya Lata Mangeshkar Chowk is a prominent roundabout and popular tourist landmark in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, dedicated to the legendary Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar, known as the Nightingale of India. Inaugurated on September 28, 2022—her 93rd birth anniversary—by Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually, with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presiding, the chowk honors her Bharat Ratna legacy and musical contributions. Located near Naya Ghat on the Saryu River banks, the chowk features a stunning 40-foot-tall, 14-tonne ornate Veena sculpture as its centerpiece, surrounded by 92 white marble lotuses symbolizing her 92-year lifespan. This architectural marvel has become Ayodhya’s favorite selfie spot for pilgrims heading to Ram Mandir, blending art, culture, and spirituality. The site hosts cultural events and evening performances, drawing locals and tourists alike. Well-lit and accessible, it serves as a key junction connecting major attractions while celebrating Lata Mangeshkar’s divine voice that resonated through generations of Indian music and bhajans.

Hanuman Garhi Ayodhya is one of the most sacred and visited temples in Ayodhya Dham, dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the devoted guardian of Lord Ram’s city. Located on a hilltop, the temple is reached by climbing 76 stone steps, a journey that itself feels like a spiritual offering. Pilgrims believe that a visit to Hanuman Garhi should be made before Ram Mandir darshan, as blessings from Bajrang Bali are considered essential for a complete pilgrimage. The temple’s fort-like architecture, vibrant devotional atmosphere, and powerful idol of Hanuman create a deeply moving experience for devotees. From the top, visitors also enjoy wide views of Ayodhya city and its sacred surroundings. During festivals like Hanuman Jayanti and Ram Navami, the temple becomes especially lively with chants, prayers, and large crowds. Hanuman Garhi is not only a temple but also a symbol of strength, protection, and faith in the holy land of Ayodhya. Hanuman Garhi is located in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, near Ram Mandir and other major pilgrimage sites. It is famous as a sacred temple of Lord Hanuman and is believed to be the guardian temple of Ayodhya.
